A 3 hour workshop, EuroPython 2019, Basel, Switzerland
I thoroughly enjoyed being at the 2019 EuroPython conference in Basel. I saw plenty of interesting presentations, had some great discussions and made some new friends. The Python community is really a special place.
And it is always nice to give something back, and to share what I’ve learned myself. At the conference I delivered a three hour workshop on writing games and other interactive experiences using the popular PyGame library.
We covered all the essentials of PyGame and the attendees had time to write a simple game during the workshops. I enjoyed their kind attention, they seemed to enjoy it and I had some lovely feedback at the end.
